Special Populations

It is the policy of the Schaumburg Park District to welcome all people to park district services, programs and activities, regardless of physical limitations. If you or a family member has a disability, and are interested in participating in a program or activity, or if you or a family member require any SPD publications be provided to you in a special format (e.g., braille, audio-cassette, large print), please advise our staff. To assist the district in making these accommodations, contact the director before the start of the program or event to discuss accommodations for a smooth inclusion. In addition to programs listed in this brochure, the SPD also provides specialized services for people with disabilities through NWSRA.
