Olympic Park

Overview

Olympic Park opened in 1995 and has hosted thousands of soccer and softball games. The site, located just west of Route 53 and south of the Woodfield Shopping Center, is a 72-acre site leased to the Park District through an intergovernmental agreement with the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District.

The Schaumburg Park District recently completed the installation of six synthetic turf soccer fields at Olympic Park. Now the centerpiece of Olympic Park, the fields total over 405,000 square feet. The turf is technologically advanced, polyethylene infill system designed for fields that will experience extremely high levels of use. The surface emulates the playing characteristics of a natural grass field in perfect condition.

• Up to 17 soccer fields available for tournament play

Softball Fields

• 5 softball fields
• 300' to outfield fences
• Up to 70' baseline
• Lights available
• All fields are available for practice, games and tournament rentals
