Olympic Park

Olympic Park opened in 1995 and has hosted thousands of soccer and softball games. The site, located just west of Route 53 and south of the Woodfield Shopping Center, is a 72-acre site leased to the Park District through an intergovernmental agreement with the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District.
Six synthetic turf soccer fields, now the centerpiece of Olympic Park, total over 405,000 square feet. The turf is technologically advanced, polyethylene infill system designed for fields that will experience extremely high levels of use. The surface emulates the playing characteristics of a natural grass field in perfect condition.
