A news digest show produced by WSPD-TV, the Schaumburg Park District’s Cable TV station, BCUZ airs on Comcast Channel 15, Wide Open West Channel 14 and AT&T U-Verse Channel 99. Air times are midnight, 7 a.m., noon and 7 p.m., Monday through Su
nday. The show will continue airing for about two weeks.
BCUZ also airs throughout the Chicago metropolitan area at 3:30 p.m., Thursdays, on Comcast Channel 35. Viewers also may watch the episode at www.parkfun.com.
The show opens with Pat Casler, director of communications and corporate relations reporting from the Links Technology Cup Golf Outing. Proceeds from the event benefit the Schaumburg Park Foundation, a 501(c)3 fundraising organization which supports the District through funding recreation scholarships for disadvantaged families and other special projects.
Later in the episode, Assistant Aquatics Supervisor Stacy Johnson heads to Atcher Island for the first Summer Picnic of the season. The show wraps up with Jon Kuester, operations manager for Volkening Heritage Farm, taking viewers on a visit with the farm’s new draft horses—Bob and Dick.
