Bring Santa home for the holidays

Nov 09, 2016

Santa’s making some early rounds this year and one of them might be your house!

The big guy is visiting Schaumburg Park District residents’ homes between 5:30 and 8:30 p.m., Dec. 6 and 7, arriving with small goodies for each child. Parents also may leave gifts outside for him to distribute when he arrives.

“Rather than wait in line to see Santa, why not have him come right to your house?” said Kathleen Benson, Bock Neighborhood Center manager and general program supervisor. “It’s a great way to get photos and make holiday memories with the family.”

Because of his busy schedule, Santa will stay just five minutes. Santa’s elves will call residents with an approximate arrival time once registration is complete. Registration ends Dec. 2 or until full. Cost is $25.
