Search for flags in Safety Park, then feast on ice cream during the Independence Day: Find the Flag Scavenger Hunt.
Children ages 1 to 6 are invited to search for flags from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m., June 29, at Ken Alley Safety Park, 421 N. Springinsguth Road. Participants may check in under the Community Recreation Center tent, just south of the park.
“Come to the hunt to get your 4th of July celebration off on the right foot,” said Kathleen Benson, general program supervisor. “This is a great way for little ones to celebrate the holiday.”
Activities also include patriotic-themed games and crafts. Ice cream treats will be served after the hunt. Participants should arrive on time as the hunt will take place first.
Early registration is recommended. Cost is $7 for residents and $10 for non-residents.
