Sep 26, 2017

Replace your athletic wear with your Halloween costume and get ready to dodge, duck and dive at Schaumburg Park District!

The National Amateur Dodgeball Association’s (NADA) Great Pumpkin Halloween Tournament will take place Saturday, Oct. 14 at The Sport Center, 1141 W. Irving Park Road. Check-in begins at 9 a.m. with matches beginning at 10 a.m.

Participants are invited to dress-up in Halloween costumes and show off their dodgeball skills in this first event of the 2017-18 NADA season.

“The combination of dodgeball and Halloween makes this a fun and unique tournament for players,” said Derek Radek, athletic supervisor. “It’s a great way to kick off the season.”

Top teams receive paid bids to the Indoor National Championships in January. Tournament is for ages 18 and older. Registration deadline is Oct. 11. Registration fee is $125 per team of 6-10 players.
