Santa Claus is ‘flying’ to town with Schaumburg Park District

Be there when Santa lands in Schaumburg, ready to hear all your holiday wishes! 

Santa’s Flight to Schaumburg, presented by Schaumburg Bank & Trust, a Wintrust Community Bank, is set for 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., Sunday, Dec. 3 at Schaumburg Regional Airport, 905 W. Irving Park Road. Santa’s transportation is provided by Northwest Flyers, Inc.

“Where else will you see Santa arrive in a helicopter?” said Kathleen Benson, Bock Neighborhood Center manager and general program supervisor. “While you wait to greet him, enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet provided by Pilot Pete’s.”

Participants should dress for the weather and bring cameras for their photo with Santa. In addition to breakfast, the event will feature music, games and crafts.

Cost is $24 for participants 13 and older and $12 per person for children ages 3 to 12.

Children 2 and younger are free, but must sit on an adult’s lap. Seating will be assigned.
