Nov 13, 2017

Dress your dog with bells and holly and enjoy holiday fun at Schaumburg Park District’s Jingle Paws.

The event is set for noon to 2 p.m., Dec. 2 at Meineke Recreation Center, 220 E. Weathersfield Way.

Jingle Paws features a variety of holiday festivities for dogs and their owners. Activities include a treat hunt, agility course, photos with Santa and a costume contest. Awards will be given out to the winners of the Best Dog/Owner Look-a-Like Costume, Best Costume and Best Overall Holiday Themed Costume. The first 50 dogs to register will receive a holiday treat.

“The holiday season is all about spending time with loved ones and that includes our four-legged family members,” said Mike Wold, Meineke manager. “Participants love dressing up their dogs for a photo with Santa.”

All dogs must have up-to-date vaccinations. Vaccination records must be attached to the registration form or brought to Meineke Recreation Center.

Event is for all ages. Cost is $2 per person and $7 per dog for residents and $3 per person and $10 per dog for non-residents.
