Duck, dodge and dive!
National Amateur Dodgeball Association Winter Nationals, presented by Schaumburg Park District, are set for Jan. 6 at The Sport Center, 1141 W. Irving Park Road. Check-in is at 9 a.m., with matches starting at 10 a.m. Games are officiated by NADA staff. All players receive a T-shirt. Team prizes are awarded to champions.
“This is a great tournament for everyone,” said Derek Radek, athletics supervisor. “We have teams playing in this tournament for the first time and players who travel the country playing dodgeball, so it is a good mix of competition.”
Youth divisions include grades 4-6, 7-8 and 9-12. Adult divisions include men’s, women’s and co-rec.
Registration fee is $125 for adult teams and $105 for youth teams. Registration deadline is Jan. 2. Download entry forms at dodgeballusa.net. Completed forms must be returned to Meineke Recreation Center, 220 E. Weathersfield Way, or sent via fax at (847) 985-2461.
