Voyage through Schaumburg Park District for secret clues to win top prizes at Sizzling Summer Adult Scavenger Hunt.
Participants will use their best detective work from 7-9:45 p.m. on Saturday, July 13 and be ready to trek to various locations throughout Schaumburg Park District. Teams of four adults will explore some of the lesser-known areas of the District, completing summer-inspired tasks along the way.
“It can get a little intense at times, as teams try to beat the clock,” said Kathleen Benson, Bock Neighborhood Center manager and general program supervisor. “There will be different ‘games’ at the various locations. We look forward to watching teams use their brain power to solve them and participate in friendly competition.”
Prizes will be awarded to first, second and third place teams. Small prizes also will be available at each site for participants, along with light snacks and a free drink at the end of the hunt (alcohol-free drinks also will be available). Start and end locations, along with special reminders, will be emailed to all teams before the event.
Participants should bring their smart phones, as it will be difficult to guess the locations. Cost is $65 per team of four. Participants must be 21 and older. Only team captains need to register.
