As we age, we lose physical strength and agility which is a leading cause of accidental falls. Taekwon-Do is relatively easy on the body and is an effective exercise for older adults. It is a low-impact exercise, so weak bones and joints will not be strained, and requires less oxygen intake than other cardiovascular activities. This is not a competitive class, as each person exercises at their own level.
This free class will give information and demonstrate the exercise basics of Taekwon-Do.
