THE COMMEDIA PUSS IN BOOTS (Lane Riosley)

Puss in Boots is the story of the foolish youngest son of a miller, who follows the advice of a clever cat in extraordinary footwear to achieve nobility and a fine marriage.  Of course, the players (Columbine, Arlequin, Punchin, Scaramouch, Rosetta, and Pantalone) embellish the story with their own form of magic.  There’s a laundry list of laughs, especially when Puss in Boots duels the great laundry giant!

MILLIE MONKA AND THE SALMON CANNERY (Flip Kobler/Cindy Marcus)

The salmon cannery has been in the Monka family for five generations, long before even Gramma Monka was around — bless her fragile heart, dontcha know.  But when something fishy starts to happen and all the salmon disappear from the river, the fate of the business and all who rely on it — especially our heroine, Millie Monka — takes a deep dive.  Unbeknownst to the Monka family, there are treasures even greater than savory salmon at their favorite fishing hole, where they hold the deed.  And they’ll never know about it if overly-friendly factory worker and part-time evil villain Artie Fischel has anything to say.

WIZARD OF OZ: THE DELETED SCENE (Eddie McPherson)

Ever think what would have happened if Dorothy didn’t immediately follow the celebrated yellow brick road?  Eddie McPherson takes our favorite story on a delightful detour when Dorothy is sidetracked by a farmer offering an alternate route to the wizard’s front door — in the form of a mysterious map.  Glinda the Good is furious.  After all, she wants to be a storybook hero, and the story will be ruined if Dorothy doesn’t meet her three friends along the yellow brick road.  Meanwhile, the Wicked Witch of the West is thrilled with the alternative route, which will rewrite the story and possibly save her from her watery fate.
