Scout Programs

Spring Valley provides an excellent setting for nature and science-related Cub Scout activities. All workshops are hands-on, led by a trained staff and actively involve the scouts and their leaders.

Most sessions will spend a portion of the time outdoors. Participants (scouts and leaders) need to be dressed for the weather. Those taking part in conservation activities may get muddy. Unless otherwise noted and previously arranged, sessions last about 1 1/2 hours. All programs, except for the Webelos Forester and Bear Nature Craft Elective, are offered year round.

Please note that attendance at an activity pin or patch workshop may not fulfill all of that patch/pin's requirements. See specific goals for each workshop as listed.
