Schaumburg Park Foundation toasted to another successful event.
Local wineries, breweries and food vendors filled Spring Valley’s prairie June 22 at the third annual Solstice Hop and Vine Fest. The event sold out with over 1,000 guests.
“The Fest was magical with the vendors pouring wine and serving food under the glow of the super moon,” said Foundation Executive Vice President Pat Casler.
Wineries and breweries sampled tastings and sold bottles of wines. Vendors led by home winery Lynfred Winery included Acquaviva Winery; Church Street, Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurants; Fox Valley Winery, Inc.; Hailey’s Winery, Ltd.; The Lucky Monk Burger, Pizza and Beer Co.; Ram Restaurant and Brewery; Village Vintner Winery; and Wild Blossom Meadery and Winery.
The Fest also featured live music from “Together Again” and Folk-Americana musician Jesse Fox, nature walks and food from Whole Foods Market Schaumburg, Buffalo Wild Wings Grill and Bar, Chandler’s Chophouse, The Melting Pot, Moe’s Southwest Grill and Moretti’s Ristorante and Pizzeria.
