Spring Valley Family Programs

Spring Valley offers family programs. Programs change seasonally.

Spend time in nature with your family! The following programs have a special family rate. By registering one child, it is assumed that a minimum of two people (one adult and one child) or a maximum of four people are attending. Please do not register additional people; they may pay the day of the program.

Call 847/985-2100 or see the Spring Valley pages in the program guide for additional program information.

Sundown Supper in the Sugar Bush

Late winter in the Sugar Bush is an exciting time of year. It’s when the maple sap starts flowing and the air is filled with the smells of spring’s approach and the maple syrup boils down! Bring your family out to experience this time-honored tradition by helping to tap some maple trees, gather sap and tend the boil down. Finally, you’ll get to enjoy a pancake ‘supper’ at the cabin with real maple syrup. This is a unique opportunity to participate in a more intimate version of Spring Valley’s popular Sugar Bush. Meet in the Plum Grove parking lot.

This event is for ages 2 and older. Cost is $35 for residents and $50 for non-residents.The cost is per family of four. Cost for additional family members is $7.50 for residents and $10.75 for non-residents.
