We check out the inflatables, face painter, DJ and games while chatting with the participants. Then, We join Alyssa Danca, fitness supervisor, at Meineke Recreation Center for the annual Splash, Pedal, Dash Triathlon and Dash, Pedal, Dash Duathlon. Danca visits with the finishers and we watch as they splash, pedal and dash. Next, We visit a Time Travelers performance at Schaumburg Tennis Plus. Marc Jolley, performer, visits with some of the comedians and we check out the free show.

Then, Stacy Johnson, assistant aquatics coordinator, takes us to Volkening Lake for the annual Father's Day Weekend Fishing Derby. Stacy visits with families as they celebrate Father's Day and catch fish. Next, Jonathan Parsons, general manager of golf operations, takes us out to the practice range at Schaumburg Golf Club for SNAG Golf. We learn about this children's program and watch as they learn fundamentals and improve their skills with the special equipment. Finally, Doug Sieder, Meineke Recreation Center manager, stops in on the LATER Program at Timbercrest Park. Doug chats with the children and learns why they enjoy camp, what their favorite game is and how long they've been attending.

We meet participants who have walked the one-mile loop, visited the Amita Health tent and enjoyed lunch from Corner Bakery. Next, Tony LaFrenere, executive director, takes us along for the Bike to Work Week ride from Meineke Recreation Center to the Village of Schaumburg. Tony chats with Mayor Al Larson before we see them ride through town.

Pete and Tony chat about the championship, the team and special game day events. Then, Beth Waller, cultural arts supervisor, takes us to Garden of Diversity: Our Multicultural Heritage at the Community Recreation Center. We travel around the CRC with Beth and learn about the different cultures around the world. Beth chats with children as they complete crafts, play games, try foods and perform on stage. Next, Mike Wold, assistant facility manager, takes us to the Sport Center Family Fun Night. Activities included a gymnastics obstacle course, dodgeball, basketball, volleyball, soccer and a tot free play area. Mike chats with the children and learns what their favorite activities are.

First, Jon Kuester, farm operations manager, teaches a class during the Farm to Table Cooking Series. Jon teaches participants about the difference between eggs, how to hard boil an egg and how to scramble an egg. Participants have the opportunity to come up and help Jon cook before enjoying the tasty breakfast they've made. Next, Kathleen Benson, Bock Center manager and general program supervisor, takes us around the Community Recreation Center during Bunny Bash. Participants visited with Bunny, went on egg hunts, completed crafts, received balloon animals and enjoyed a petting zoo. Then, Derek Dvorak, athletic supervisor, stops by the Spring Break Dodgeball Tournament. Derek introduces us to a few competitors and we watch games as youth and adult teams play for the championship. We finish the episode as Kathleen Benson, Bock Center manager and general program supervisor, takes us to the Underwater EGGstravaganza. We visit with participants who swim around in this unique egg hunt.

Dave meets with visitors who enjoyed pancakes and fresh maple syrup.

Pam tells us about the variety of birthday options available and then we stop in on the party at The Water Works. Next, Senior Center Coordinator Lisa Perrone visits the Love Boat Party. Lisa talks with seniors about the Love Boat Party, senior trips and other activities. The participants enjoy entertainment and lunch.

Schaumburg Park District Executive Director Tony LaFrenere welcomes Schaumburg Mayor Al Larson to the BCUZ studio. Tony and Mayor Larson recap the SBA Good Morning breakfast. They discuss District activities, 2014 and what residents may look forward to in Schaumburg. Next, Tony speaks with Todd King, superintendent of parks and planning about the new ice rinks at Olympic Park. The ice rinks were installed to increase skating opportunities in the Schaumburg area. One rink is dedicated to hockey while the other is for figure/leisure skating. Then Alyssa Danca, fitness supervisor, takes us to the Community Recreation Center and Meineke Recreation Center to stop in on group fitness classes. We hear about group classes from instructors and learn what participants enjoy the most.
