Reservations MUST be made at least two weeks in advance. There is a minimum charge per group of $63.75 for in-district and $71.25 for out-of-district. Payment is expected on the day of the program. Checks should be made to the Schaumburg Park District. A deposit of $63.75 for in-district and $71.25 for out-of-district is required to confirm reservations for all summer programs. Upon receipt of the deposit, confirmations will be mailed out. A lunch room is available at no extra charge, but reservations must be made at the time the program is scheduled.
Some Pre-K/K programs are one hour long while others are 1.5 hours in length. Early Settler Life and Caddie Woodlawn programs are two hours. All other programs are 1.5 hours in length.

All outreach program fees are per class and are discounted when class visits are scheduled to run consecutively. Teachers are encouraged to creatively schedule around lunch periods in order to accomplish this. If this is impossible, and a wait of more than 40 minutes between programs is necessary, then the same day discount cannot be offered and fee for the next class will be at the first class rate.
Programs included a variety of hands-on activities and topics correlated with Illinois State Learning Standards and the National Education Science Standards. The maximum class size for any program is 30 students.

Teachers are welcome to provide owl pellets; otherwise, there will be an additional charge dependent on the market cost at the time the program is scheduled.
Scout programs may be scheduled Monday through Friday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and 9a.m.-noon on Saturday. Length of time and number of sessions vary with badge. All reservations require two weeks notice. Groups of fewer than 15 will be charged a minimum fee, which varies by program.
Large groups (up to 50) are divided into smaller groups of 12-15. Programs vary in length from 1.5 to two hours and are offered for adult business/social groups and high school students. Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and 7-10 p.m. Schedule at least two weeks in advance by calling 847-985-2100.
