Schaumburg Park District is preparing to replace the steel sheet piling currently protecting the shoreline of the pond at Gray Farm Park. This important project will help reduce erosion and improve the long-term health of the shoreline.
In recent years, we’ve had great success using a variety of shoreline stabilization techniques at Volkening Lake, Colony Lake and Meineke Park. We plan to use similar methods at Gray Farm Park. These include:
