The Schaumburg Park Foundation supports the work of the Schaumburg Park District. You can make a donation to the Schaumburg Park Foundation at schaumburgparkfoundation.org/donate.

Permits are required in order to have exclusive use of a park picnic shelter. For more information, please visit parkfun.com/parks/rental-information.

Permits are required for all professional photography and videography on Park District property. Photography and videography must not interfere with Park District programs and activities.

After snowfall, the District strives to open facilities and amenities as quickly as possible. Main facilities and parking lots are plowed first. Park areas and pathways are plowed after main facilities are cleared. This includes pathways that lead to schools, the Dog Park and Volkening Lake. With over 100 parks and paths in our parks system, not all are maintained in the winter.

We have been made aware of local scams involving online ads and social media posts soliciting registration fees for non-existent craft fairs being promoted as happening at various Schaumburg Park District parks. These scams call for vendors to pay a daily registration fee to rent space at a craft fair and/or vendor show. If you believe you have paid into a fraudulent event, please contact the Schaumburg Police Department.

Currently, there are only two craft fairs promoted annually by Schaumburg Park District; the Spring Valley Holiday Craft Fair and Schaumburg Park Foundation's Holiday Bazaar. Craft fairs hosted by Schaumburg Park District will be promoted on our website and Facebook page and do not take place at neighborhood parks. For more information, call 847-985-2115.
