Interested in working as a lifeguard this summer? Apply to become a lifeguard with us! We are seeking to fill both seasonal and permanent lifeguard positions at various Schaumburg Park District pool locations which include: Bock, Atcher Island, Meineke Pool, and The Water Works (indoor waterpark facility).

Schaumburg Park District lifeguards are part of an award winning team. In 2021, our aquatics team scored an EXCEEDS on every Jeff Ellis & Associates audit. In 2022, our aquatics team was awarded the prestigious Gold International Aquatic Safety Award. Lifeguarding CPR/AED paid training is provided.

Seasonal positions are from May – September. Scheduling is flexible and will vary. Available shifts include weekdays, weekends and/or holidays.  Hiring rate is $16 per hour!
