Notice of Construction: The Sport Center Lobby Renovation

June 9 – Early September

The Sport Center lobby is getting renovated! Renovations start Monday, June 9, with work expected to continue through early September. The Sport Center is only open for rentals and park district programs. For your safety, please pay close attention to posted signage, follow marked paths and read the facility access instructions below.

Facility Access During Renovation‍

• Turf Fields/Courts: Enter through the main entrance (Door #1) and follow signage to the check-in counter.
• Gymnastics Center Classes: Enter through the rear of the building (Door #6). Follow signage and/or staff directions to access the Gymnastics Center. Drop-off and pick-up for gymnastics classes will take place at Door #6.

Gymnastics Center Classes: Important Notes

• The lobby viewing area will be closed during renovations. Parents/guardians are asked to drop off participants at Door #6. Coaches will escort children to and from class via an alternate gymnastics center entrance.
• Parking is available outside Door #6 for those who wish to wait in their vehicle until class dismissal.
• Lobby restrooms will be unavailable; participants will be escorted to the lower level bathrooms if needed. To minimize disruptions, please use the restrooms before arriving to class.
• For safety, an additional coach will be onsite to assist with drop-off and pick-up transitions at Door #6.
