Exciting improvements are coming to Volkening Lake!
A few years ago, Schaumburg Park District purchased property next to Volkening Lake. Now we're putting it to great use by creating a brand-new east entrance to the park. The project will include new pathways, a circular gathering plaza with a stone sitting wall, bench or game tables, fresh landscaping and shade, making it easier and more inviting than ever to enjoy everything Volkening Lake has to offer, from walking and fishing to picnicking and boating.
