Schaumburg Park District is committed to the health and safety of our guests and staff. The District continues to monitor the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, along with the guidelines and safety information released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Illinois Department of Public Health. Please read the information below to learn more about the District's response.
Based on the Stay At Home order issued by Governor Pritzker, all public facilities, operations and playgrounds are closed and programs, events and rentals are cancelled through April 30. As the situation continues to evolve, cancellations and closure information may change.
All Schaumburg Park District playgrounds are closed until further notice. K-9 Dog Park is also closed. Trails remain open, however please adhere to the following:
We've had several questions regarding refunds and credits. Please review the information below:
Memberships: Fitness Center members who prepaid their membership will have their membership extended for the length of the closure. For example, if we are closed for two weeks, you will be granted a two-week extension on your membership. Moving forward, members who pay monthly will not be charged until fitness centers reopen.
Rentals and Parties: We are reaching out to all renters. If your party has been scheduled during this time, we will refund or reschedule your event without a cancellation or rescheduling fee.
Moving forward, KASPER, preschool and other programs with automatic billing will not be charged or billed during the closure.
All events that were scheduled to take place during the closure will be refunded automatically. You do not need to request a refund.
If you have any questions regarding our refund policy, please email us at email@example.com or call 847-985-2115 during normal business hours.
Please note that the above mentioned refund practices are being offered temporarily during this special closure and are not our standard policies.
