Given this news, effective immediately, Schaumburg Park District will begin requiring masks for all patrons inside our facilities - this includes during fitness and athletic activities.
July 30, 2021 Update: Earlier this week, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) released new guidance recommending that fully vaccinated individuals resume wearing masks indoors in areas of the country where COVID-19 transmission is "high or substantial". May 21, 2021, 6 a.m., Update: Schaumburg Park District policies and procedures regarding COVID-19 have been put in place in the interest of public health and to ensure that the District is following all executive orders and mandates. On May 17, Governor Pritzker released Executive Order 2021-10, which stipulates that in most places, individuals fully vaccinated against COVID-19 do not have to wear face coverings.

Staff working with children ages 11 and younger are required to wear a mask.
